Sip ‘n Sculpt: Make a Planter at Windham Junction!

Join professional potter Rachel Normington for a fun and creative clay planter workshop at Windham Junction! With over 20 years of experience working with clay, Rachel will guide you through the process of hand-building your own unique ceramic planter while you relax and enjoy wine, snacks, music, and good company.

This workshop is designed for all skill levels — beginners are welcome! Each participant will start with a soft slab of clay that can be textured, stamped, and decorated using a variety of tools and designs. You’ll then shape your slab into a planter, add a bottom, and create a matching tray to catch excess water.

Once your piece is completed, you’ll choose a glaze color and leave the finishing work to Rachel. Your planter will be professionally fired, glazed, and fired again to create a durable, functional ceramic piece. Finished pieces will be ready for pickup approximately 2 weeks after the workshop.

Ages 7+ welcome for the workshop.
Wine and snacks included. BYOB also welcome for guests 21+.

Terms & Conditions
Each ticket is valid for one person and one project. Studio space is limited—please contact Rachel in advance for special circumstances.
No refunds or rescheduling. Clay and materials are prepared specifically for your reservation. You may, however, resell or gift your ticket if you are unable to attend.
Workshops are held at two different locations—please double-check that you select the correct location when registering.
Clay is a natural material and occasional imperfections or kiln mishaps can occur. While every effort is made to ensure successful results, Rachel cannot be responsible for issues beyond her control.
Must be 21+ to bring and/or consume alcohol.
