Santa Clay Sculpture Workshop
Join us for a fun and festive clay workshop at Heart Studio in Windham, NH! This time, we’re creating adorable handmade Santa sculptures that will make the perfect holiday decoration for your home.
Professional potter Rachel Normington will guide you through the process of creating your own unique Santa. We’ll start with white clay pinch pots and slabs, then use a variety of hand-building techniques to shape and sculpt Santa’s body, hat, face, beard, and all the fun little details that bring him to life.
Once your Santa is sculpted, you’ll get to add color to your creation, giving him your own personality and style. I’ll take care of the final firing and finish each piece with a clear glaze, giving your Santa a beautiful, durable finish while allowing all those colorful details to shine.
No previous clay experience is needed—this workshop is perfect for all skill levels! Come get creative, enjoy some holiday cheer, and make a one-of-a-kind Santa that you’ll be excited to display year after year.
All materials and supplies are provided.
All skill levels welcome. Your finished Santa will be fired and ready for pickup approximately 2 weeks after the workshop.Come make a little holiday magic out of clay!
Light Snacks and Wine included, B.Y.O.B is welcome.
