“Sip ‘n Sculpt” Make a piggy bank at Windham Junction!

Sign up and come in to Windham Junction to learn how to sculpt your own clay piggy bank! Learn from professional potter Rachel Normington of Twist of Fate pottery. She will throw each person a pot ahead of time for you to take and decorate, with step-by-step instructions showing you how to turn the pot into a piggy! Be as creative as you want! We will add feet, ears, eyes, and a mouth but feel free to go wild and give your pig other accessories like hair or a hat, carve designs, add flowers, whatever you want! It doesn’t even have to be a pig when you’re done with it! When finished, leave your piggy to dry and be fired, glazed in your choice of color. This piggy bank is designed to have an open nose that is closed by a cork so you can take the change out of the pig, it will have the cork in it when you pick it up.

Join us for a fun night, getting messy and making new friends. This event is B.Y.O.B.  with wine and snacks provided as well.

One person per ticket per project, space in studio is limited. Please contact me for special circumstances.

No refunds or rescheduling into a different class. I have already prepped your clay and might not have enough time to fill your space if you cannot attend. However, it is ok for YOU to resell or gift your ticket to someone else. Think of it like buying a concert ticket, you cannot return tickets, but you can resell them.

I currently teach these workshops in 2 different locations, please make sure you have the right location when signing up so that you don’t accidentally go to the wrong place at the time of the workshop.

Clay is unpredictable and I can only do so much to ensure the finished project after you leave the workshop. Sometimes pieces warp, explode in the kiln or just fall apart if you did not follow the instructions correctly. I do my best to glue things back together if I can. Chances are slim that something might break but I am not responsible for clay mishaps that are out of my control.

Must be 21+ to bring and/or consume alcohol at this event.
